in Toronto, Oakville and Whitby!
This annual event will draw energy and power to the healing component of yoga in the balance of mental health and physical wellness.
Yoga has long been seen as a tool for improving mental health. Today, many therapists include yoga and other body-focused practices in their work. The Peace of Minds Yogathon is designed to showcase the proven benefits of the practice to a wide audience of all ages and abilities, and raise awareness and funds for mental health.
There are many ways to participate and support the Peace of Minds Yogathon. You can help us raise funds by:

Want to Host a Karma Class?
In addition to the Yogathon, yoga studios across Ontario are encouraged to host Karma Classes in support of Peace of Minds throughout the month of February. The choice of date and type of class is determined by the yoga studio with the proceeds supporting SSO’s programs and services. Hosting a Karma class is a fun and fulfilling way to help SSO provide hope for Ontarians affected by schizophrenia and psychosis and their families.
To host a Karma Class contact events@schizophrenia.on.ca to receive a Karma Class Kit!
